Common questions
Frequently asked
What kind of addiction treatment does Renova Recovery offer?
Outpatient treatment at four levels: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient (OP), and medication-assisted treatment. Clients live at home throughout. There is no residential or detox program on site.
Where is Renova Recovery located, and who do you serve?
Renova Recovery is at 35 Beaverson Blvd, Building 6A, Brick Township, NJ 08723. We serve adults across Ocean County and the Jersey Shore, including Brick, Toms River, Point Pleasant, Wall Township, Lakewood and Manasquan. Parking is free and on site. The building is a single location — there is no campus to navigate.
Do you offer detox or residential treatment?
No. Renova Recovery is an outpatient program only — clients live at home throughout treatment. We do not provide medical detoxification or residential care. When either is clinically needed, our team coordinates a referral to an appropriate provider and can pick up outpatient care afterward as a step down.
Do you take my insurance?
Renova Recovery works with most major commercial insurance plans, primarily on an out-of-network basis. What you pay depends on your plan's out-of-network benefits, deductible, coinsurance and medical necessity criteria. Benefits are verified before admission, free and confidentially. Private pay is also available, and financial arrangements can be discussed in confidence.
How do I know which level of care I need?
That is a clinical decision, not a self-diagnosis. A full assessment looks at how much structure you need, your home environment, treatment history, safety, and whether withdrawal management is required. Many clients start at PHP or IOP and step down over time. The assessment is free and carries no obligation to enroll.
Do I have to stop working to get treatment?
No. Morning, afternoon and evening schedules exist specifically so people can keep working, studying, or caring for family while in treatment. IOP runs several days a week; OP is one to three sessions weekly. Most clients continue working throughout. Scheduling is worked out around your commitments during the assessment.
How soon can I be seen?
Same-day assessments are often available. Call (908) 533-9808 — the line is answered 24/7. The admissions team will talk through your situation, verify your insurance benefits at no cost, and schedule an assessment. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours if you would rather see the building first.
Is Renova Recovery accredited?
Yes. Renova Recovery is accredited by The Joint Commission, licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health, and LegitScript certified. Clinical programming, intake assessments and quality of care are overseen by our Clinical Director, Rachele McGowan, LPC, LCADC, ACS, CCS, NCC, CCTP-II, ICGCI. We treat adults 18 and over.
